A bailiff gets control 6
There’s no point in going on because Peter couldn’t get the extra money.
At 3pm Mr Green took the work van and tools.
They weren't worth much, so he returned and emptied the house of anything he thought he could sell at auction.
The goods were sold at auction, but didn't raise enough to cover the debt.
The debt by now included the current years council tax bill.
Peter couldn’t work, so he couldn't pay the mortgage or any of his bills.
The Stuckers marriage failed, and Janet took the children to her mothers.
6 months later Peter was evicted from what was their family home.
Peter now lives in a bedsit on Benefit. he's being treated for depression, and takes his children to the Park to feed the ducks every Sunday.
The Council deducts £3 a week from Peters benefit to pay the arrears.
If Peter returned to work he would owe the Council over £1569.38.
Mr Green is likely to have made over £500 from the cash he collected as well as the sale of the Stuckers goods at auction.
