Bailiff seizes doormat

It’s fair to say that at this moment Rosie was in shock.
She was scared, because there weren't many belongings in her tiny bedsit but she needed them.
Her most important possession was her computer, on which she did her coursework.
So she decided that she would not let anyone get in to take them.
She visited a couple of internet self-help forums, and by the time she'd read some of the threads there, she was terrified of anything remotely similar happening to her.

It seemed to her that she would end up with no possessions at all if the bailiff got through the shared front door, because she had been told that once through a shared front door, the bailiff had the right to force any door or cupboard open looking for goods to sell.

Rosie talked to everyone who lived in the shared house
She told them how she had just discovered that she owed over £600 in Council Tax, that she couldn’t understand how because she'd given her previous flatmate the money to pay it.
She explained to them that she had offered to make regular payments, but the Council had refused and were sending the bailiffs round anyway.
so could everyone please not allow anyone they did not know personally, in through the front door.
