Bailiff seizes doormat

It didn’t matter what Mr Wally said, he couldn’t persuade her to open the door. So he pressed another button and waited.
He asked each person who answered if they would open the door, and listened with mounting astonishment and irritation as each person told him to get lost, piss off, or go jump off a cliff! It was as if they were all working together...

Seething with frustration, he completed a removal notice and was just about to post it through the front door letterbox, when he noticed the doormat.  It was a simple brown doormat; but to Mr Wally it was now an item of debtors property outside the premises.
He was exasperated, he had tried to be reasonable, and he’d even tried to be pleasant!
With these angry thoughts rampaging through his head, Mr Wally decided to levy upon the brown doormat outside the front door...

Once she was sure that the Bailiff had gone, Rosie went to the letterbox and looked at the letter he had left. It said that he would return in five days to remove the doormat.  Rosie laughed...

But she soon stopped laughing when she saw she now owed £804.83!
That wasn’t funny at all, it was nearly £180 more than the debt was before.
Now she felt scared again, and very lonely.
