Bailiff seizes doormat

Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: xxxxxxx Client reference xxxxxxxx
I would like to make you aware that I fully understand my rights. You will not gain entry to my home under any circumstances to levy goods, and I know the fees allowed under statute and when these fees can be applied.

Invalid Levy on a Doormat
You have Seized and levied on a doormat that is the property of my Landlord. It is obvious to any caller that the front door is a shared entrance, and so the bailiff could not reasonably assume that the doormat was my sole property, so no valid levy took place.

Excessive Bailiff fees
Your bailiff, Mr xxxxx, has charged excessive fees contrary to sections 1, 2, and possibly 9, of the Fraud Act 2006 and because they resulted from an invalid levy, please amend your records to show that no valid levy took place and remove all levy fees.

I have never refused to pay my Council Tax arrears and I am sending a copy of this letter to xxxxxxxx City Council

Yours faithfully,
