Certificated Bailiffs

A bailiff's job is not easy, nobody want's them calling, so no matter what they do, they're not welcome.
They must satisfy a Court they are a fit person, put up a £10,000 bond, and follow a national Code of Practice.
If the debtor makes a complaint to a court that is upheld, the bailiff could lose his job.
The bailiff must get his fees from the debtor without any real authority to collect it until he's seized goods.
A bailiff may be abused and possibly assaulted, although it's rare.
A bailiff is expected to be polite and professional at all times.
When bailiffs break the law - Police and the Courts often turn a blind eye.
When bailiff's do bring money in, the commission can be generous, expecially if he brings in more than the debtor owes.
A Certificated Bailiff is really a tax collector and very important to Parliament.
Bailiffs are people too with families and children, Grannies and Uncles, and worries of their own. Just like you.
Although there are bailiffs that act illegally and immorally, there are many more who don’t.
If their job causes misery, blame your MP's, every 4 years or so, you give them the power to change things.
Oh and Councils do performance audits on the Bailiff services, so your councillors know exactly how their bailiffs behave.
