Sisters beat the bailiff

The bailiff, Miss Kelsey, was very controlled, she said, “I’ve got a WPA and you’ve failed to make your agreed payments, so 1, I have the right to come in, and 2, I’ve come to take the goods away. Now you can avoid that if you pay me £599.47 right now”.
Angela was in a panic, they didn’t have that much money. So she stalled - she said, “look, I’m not dressed, and Dave’s got no work today, so I’ll go round my family and see if I can get the money together, ok?”.
Miss Kelsey agreed and said she would call back at 3pm that afternoon, and she and her large friend left.
Angela rushed round to her sisters. They spent a couple of hours on the internet asking for advice and after that they spent the rest of the day, moving furniture and all their stuff out of their house, they didn’t have much.
By the time they’d finished, all that was left was one three seater couch in the lounge, the kitchen table (cos it wouldn’t fit in her sisters car) and two chairs, their bed, Davids tools, a stool in the bedroom, each item had a large sticky label on it stating that it was the property of Vanessa Cummins, and her address and phone number, and that it was on loan to Angela Grey.
In the hall, in a large cardboard box, was a small portable tv, a microwave, and a toaster.
Angela and Vanessa had been to the local second hand shop and persuaded the manager to part with a broken tv, microwave and toaster for £10.
They managed all that by 1.30pm and then sat down and waited for 3pm.
